What is a Gmail Contact?

What is a Gmail Contact?

Gmail contacts are people you’ve saved in your Gmail contacts list. You can access Gmail contacts from the sidebar of Gmail or from the Contacts tab in your Gmail settings.

Create Gmail Contacts

You can add contacts in Gmail by following these steps:

1) Open the contact list by clicking on the arrow next to you name in the upper right corner of your inbox.

2) Enter in a first and last name for your contact, and choose a category from the dropdown menu that best fits with who they are.

3) Click "Save."

4) Repeat this process as needed, or click "Done" to finish adding all of your contacts.

Add Gmail Contacts to Your Network

The first step to managing your Gmail contacts is to add them. You can add Gmail contacts from the list of people you have emailed with in the past. In the bottom left-hand corner, you should see a "plus" sign that allows you to create a new contact.

1) Click on the “plus” sign

2) Type in the name of the person

3) Add any additional information, such as address or phone number

4) Click “save”

You can also use this feature to find people by typing in their email address or name.

Manage Your Network of Contacts

Gmail makes it easy to keep track of your network of contacts. You can create different types of contacts in Gmail, such as family members, friends, co-workers and more. Once you’ve created a contact group, you can easily manage your network by adding new contacts or deleting old ones.

Let’s say you have a contact group for family members. You’ll be able to add or remove contacts from this group whenever necessary. For example, let’s say one of your family members moves away and you want to delete them from the list. They won’t be able to see any emails that are sent to the family contact group in the future. If you want them on the list again, it will be easy as pie since they are still part of the family contact group.

But what if you don’t have a Gmail account yet? It doesn't matter! You can easily sign up for one and start managing your network with Gmail contacts immediately!

Get to Know Google Contacts

The first thing you need to do is get acquainted with Google contacts. You can find Google contacts in your Gmail inbox on the right side of the window. Simply click on "Contacts" to access them.

You can also find Google contacts when you go to your Google account settings and navigate to the "Contacts" tab on the left-hand side of the page. The contact list will appear in a box on this page. This is a list of all of your current contacts, not just those in Gmail.
